Airport Transfers

Heathrow Airport Transfers

Heathrow is the busiest of the four London airports SPH Services covers, and the one where terminal-specific timing matters most: four separate terminals, each served by different airline alliances, mean a generic "Heathrow pickup" is rarely precise enough. Our chauffeurs are briefed on your exact terminal, airline, and flight number before you land, not just the airport name.

The Route from Mayfair

From central Mayfair, the standard Heathrow route runs west along the A4 onto the M4, joining the airport via the Heathrow spur road. In normal traffic this is a 45 to 60 minute drive; during the morning school run or the evening M4 westbound peak, we build in extra time automatically rather than leaving it to chance. For pickups from further out, such as Chelsea, Kensington, or Knightsbridge, the route and timing are adjusted the same way, terminal by terminal.

The fixed £120 rate applies across all four terminals and already accounts for reasonable waiting time if your flight is delayed. Your chauffeur monitors your flight number in real time from wheels-up at the origin airport, so a delayed landing shifts the pickup automatically. There is no additional charge for this, and no need to call ahead and re-confirm.

Terminal by Terminal

  • Terminal 5British Airways' main Heathrow hub, the terminal we're briefed on most often, given how much of our corporate account traffic connects through BA.
  • Terminal 3Most Oneworld long-haul arrivals and Virgin Atlantic, including many transatlantic and Middle East routes.
  • Terminal 2"The Queen's Terminal," serving Star Alliance carriers such as Lufthansa, United, and Singapore Airlines.
  • Terminal 4SkyTeam carriers including Air France, KLM, and several long-haul services further out on the airport's southern side.

Why Book Heathrow Through SPH Services

Meet & Greet

Your chauffeur waits inside the correct terminal's arrivals hall, not the car park, holding a name board and ready to assist with luggage from the moment you clear customs.

Group Travel

For larger travelling parties, the 16-Seater Luxury Coach keeps everyone and their luggage together in a single vehicle rather than splitting across multiple cars for the same Heathrow run.

Business Ready

Complimentary WiFi and a quiet cabin mean the drive in from Heathrow doubles as working time for corporate travellers heading straight into meetings.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a chauffeur transfer to Heathrow cost?

Heathrow transfers are a fixed £120 with SPH Services, covering all four terminals and including flight monitoring and any reasonable waiting time for delays. There is no extra charge if your flight lands late.

Which Heathrow terminal will my chauffeur meet me at?

Your chauffeur is briefed on your specific terminal and gate information in advance: Terminal 5 for British Airways, Terminal 3 for most Oneworld and Virgin Atlantic long-haul arrivals, Terminal 2 for Star Alliance carriers, or Terminal 4 for SkyTeam and several long-haul airlines, and adjusts pickup timing to your actual terminal, not a generic 'Heathrow' meeting point.

How long does it take to get from central London to Heathrow?

From Mayfair via the A4 and M4, a Heathrow transfer typically takes 45 to 60 minutes in normal traffic, longer during the morning and evening peaks. Your chauffeur builds in extra time automatically for early morning or rush-hour bookings.

Can I book a Heathrow transfer for a large group?

Yes, the 16-Seater Luxury Coach is available for group Heathrow transfers alongside our standard executive sedans, so a full travelling party can move together in one vehicle rather than splitting across several cars.
